Born on 8th May, 1987 at Baleswar District in the state of Odisha.

Samarjeet Behera earned his M. F. A degree from University of Hyderabad, Telengana. By far he has participated in several art exhibitions, workshops and seminars in India. He was an artist-in-residence with UtshaFoundation in 2015. His project titled "Insert 2014" was selected by the Inlaks foundation.

 

His medium ranges widely from anything such as water colour to everything like stones, straw, laterite, wood and iron. His talent transforms Odia alphabets into exquisite specimen of "high art".
